James Matthew “Matt” Jarrett is a technical writer, designer, editor, and artist currently working as a technical writer supporting Information Technology innovation and support contracts proposals.
I am a graduate of West Virginia University’s BA English program with a focus in Professional Writing and Editing, as well as a graduate from the University of Minnesota with a Master of Science in Scientific & Technical Communication. I am also Security+ certified.
I possess diverse abilities in all things language, art, and technical communication related. My freelance clients and projects are diverse and include everything from ghostwriting, editing, website design and mastering, to communications consultation, and more.
In the portfolio section of my site I have made available a selection of my works in editing, technical writing, research, and academic writing. These works trace my development as an editor in a reverse-chronological format (beginning with my most current work as an editor with the Digital Publishing Institute and ending with work completed at the West Virginia Division of Culture and History). My portfolio also includes relevant coursework, research, and writing. See some of my recent website design work at teeguidotti.com.
I am a freelance editor available for work upon request. Please inquire for quotes and discussion of possible projects. Do not hesitate to contact me to discuss editing, art, or anything else on your mind. I look forward to interacting with visitors, and I blog in this space as well.
