My name is James Matthew Jarrett, and I am an editor, poet, and artist. I currently work as a publishing intern with West Virginia University’s Digital Publishing Institute, under the tutelage of Dr. Cheryl Ball.

In the past, I have worked as a personal assistant and editor to Dr. Edwin Flowers (former vice-president of West Virginia University) as he publishes memoirs, as an editing intern with the West Virginia Division of Culture and History, and as a freelance editor.

My portfolio is composed of documents and projects completed during my time as an editor.
My art is variously composed of poetry, metalworking, and hiphop.
